Spiral Wound Gasket (SWG) hay còn gọi là vòng đệm xoắn ốc, là một loại vật liệu làm kín quan trọng, được sử dụng rộng rãi trong các nghành công nghiệp luyện kim, hóa chất, hóa dầu, sản xuất năng lượng.
Valqua Spiral Wound Gasket (Vòng đệm kim loại) được Valqua sản xuất như miếng nệm cho đường ống, nắp van, bình chứa điều áp,v.v. miếng đệm này cho các ứng dụng đông lạnh (với vòng ngoài) hoặc các thiết kế có vòng trong và vòng ngoài giúp linh hoạt trong quá trình sử dụng.

Cấu tạo của Spiral Wound Gasket
Valqua Spiral Wound Gasket
Chất lượng của vòng đệm bán kim loại phụ thuộc vào đặc tính cơ học của dãi vật liệu cấu thành, giúp tăng cường khả năng chịu nén so với các gioăng đệm khác.
Vòng đệm kim loại được quấn theo hình xoắn ốc với các dải xen kẽ của dải chất độn làm thành phần niêm phong cơ bản của miếng đệm. Biên dạng chevron cho phép miếng đệm hoạt động như một lò xo.
Vòng đệm được thiết kế theo tiêu chuẩn ASME hoặc ANSI.
Spiral Wound Gasket là sản phẩm có tính chất hoàn thiện dựa theo kích thước, kim loại trong và ngoài, các vật liệu phụ để đáp ứng các điều kiện hoạt động cụ thể.

Phân loại vòng đệm xoắn ốc
Theo cấu tạo có thể phân loại Spiral Wound Gasket theo 4 loại chính:
Một là loại cơ bản: vành xoắn Kim loại liên kết thành phần đệm kín của ron, tạo thành hình xoắn ốc. Không có vòng thép trong và ngoài. Ưu điểm của loại này là chi phí thấp, dễ sản xuất. Nhược điểm là dễ bị phá vỡ liên kết bên trong và ngoài ron. Dễ lẫn vật liệu đệm vào dung môi. Dễ bị rò rỉ dung môi ra bên ngoài.
Hai là loại vành xoắn đệm có liên kết vòng thép bên trong. Ưu điểm rẻ tiền, dể sản xuất. Nhược điểm dể bị phá vỡ liên kết bên ngoài ron. Dể bị xì dung môi ra bên ngoài.
Ba là loại vành xoắn đệm có liên kết vòng thép bên ngoài. Ưu điểm rẻ tiền. Nhược điểm dể bị phá vỡ liên kết bên trong ron. Dể lẫn vật liệu đệm vào dung môi.
Bốn là loại có vành xoắn kim loại liên kết thành phần đệm kín của ron, tạo thành hình xoắn ốc. Nó được nẹp chặt bởi 2 vòng thép trong và ngoài tạo thành ron đệm hoàn hảo. Ưu điểm đáp ứng được yêu cầu kỹ thuật cao về các tính chất ấp suất, nhiệt độ và mức độ làm kín theo thời gian dài. Nhược điểm khó sản xuất.
