Chủ yếu được sử dụng rộng rãi trong ngành đóng tàu, dầu khí, hóa chất, xây dựng, năng lượng điện, dụng cụ chính xác, thiết bị y tế, sản xuất nhạc cụ và các bộ phận khác cho các bộ phận kết cấu chống ăn mòn.
Một số ống đồng cũng có tính chất điện đặc biệt để chế tạo các thành phần điện trở, vật liệu cặp nhiệt điện và dây bù.
Ống đồng phi công nghiệp chủ yếu được sử dụng để làm đồ thủ công trang trí.
